Susan Kliewer, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Susan received her DVM from Kansas State University in 1989 and has co-owned Heartland Animal Hospital, with her husband Dr. Andrew Kliewer, since 1994. She finds the most fulfillment in her veterinary practice when helping to nurture the bond between clients and their pets.

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association and is active in the First United Methodist Church in Plattsmouth. Susan and Andrew have 3 children; Jacob, Austin, and Marie, two dogs; Star and Wilson and six cats; Sister, Sunny, Meowth, Ziggy, Zoe, and Lt. Dan.

Outside the office, Dr. Susan enjoys spending her time with her children and pets and pursuing her hobby of photography.
