Dear Staff Members,
Our family wishes to convey our greatest gratitiude for your sincere and professional service to our family pet.
We brought our dog Amy into your facility on Monday, March 22, 2010 as a follow-up to emergency care she received over the weekend of 19-21 March at an animal emergency facility. During those short days, we were informed our pet of 9 years was diabetic and was believed to have a sizeable mass on one of her organs.
Through your understanding and ability to expeditiously accommodate an urgent appointment, she was able to be seen by your staff and unfortunatley provide confirmation of a serious medical condition which necessitated a humane expiration of her life.
Unexpectedly on March 24, 2010, our family received a plaster cast of her paw print and a sympathy card from your practice. Our entire family was completely taken by surprise from such a sincere expression of solidarity with our loss. We were deeply touched by the additional professionalism of that gesture.
In our experience, the extra effort anyone takes towards any activity separates them from their peers, and in your case, competitors. Our family is now one of your newest and staunchest supporters to recommend family pet care to our friends and community members. Your practice to provide an additional measure of comfort in a time of grief has left an indelible mark on our lives. Thank you so very much.

Dear Heartland Staff,
Thank you so much for sending Prissy's paw print impression. This is the nicest thing anyone has done in a long time. Last night we had thunder and Prissy was afraid of any loud noises. She had the sharpest hearing of any dog I ever had so when we had a storm she would seek me to be by my side. This would be before we would even hear it. I was her safe zone and she was my storm warning. We worked together well, it was almost like we knew what the other was going to do.

I wanted to say thank you for all the care & compassion you gave my dear Bianca over the years. He could not have been in better care. I appreciate all you have done to make this difficult time easier on our family. While we miss Bianca terribly, I do know he's no longer suffering & that is comforting.
You were both always such great doctors for Bianca & even though he wasn't always the most appreciative kitty, I know he felt secure in your care, too.
I also wanted to thank you for the touching paw print of Bianca you sent. I will always treasure this thoughful gift. Thank you for always being so kind & thoughtful, especially at this time.

My family wants to express to you all a big thank you for all that you have done for our "kitties" over the years. It has taken us a little time to come to grips with the death of both our beloved cats, Taffy & Cotton & appreciate all that you did for their care with diabetes to their peaceful end. Lucy & Ella are wonderfull kitties loving us in their own special ways. Look forward to many more years with you!
